  • What is the main difference between Wintherm's Industrial Furnaces and Industrial Ovens?
Generally, the difference lies in the operating temperature. Industrial Ovens typically operate below 400°C for applications such as drying, curing, or baking. Meanwhile, Industrial Furnaces operate at much higher temperatures (often above 1000°C) for heat treatment, melting, or forging purposes.
 
  • Does Wintherm provide heat source options other than electricity (e.g., gas)?
Yes, we can design furnaces and ovens with either electric heating systems (heating elements) or gas-fired systems, tailored to your facility's energy infrastructure and cost efficiency.
 
  • What is the maximum temperature Wintherm furnaces can reach?
We can supply high-temperature furnaces tailored to your needs, reaching up to 1200°C, 1600°C, or higher (Above 2000 deg C), utilizing specialized refractory materials and high-quality heating elements.
 
  • Are Wintherm furnaces and ovens equipped with automatic control systems?
Yes, we can equipped with smart control panels based on PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and touchscreen HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) based on requrest for process control. This allows your operators to set temperature curves, monitor processes in real-time, and store parameter recipes (data logging).

  • Our factory has limited space. Can the oven dimensions be customized to fit our layout?
Absolutely. As a local manufacturer, our specialty is custom design. Our engineering team will conduct a site survey to design a unit with precise dimensions without compromising load capacity or machine performance.
 
  • What materials can be processed using Wintherm furnaces?
Our products are compatible with various materials, ranging from melting and heat treatment for steel, iron, aluminum, and copper, to glass, ceramic, and powder coating processing.
 
  • Can Wintherm manufacture continuous furnaces (conveyor systems) for mass production lines?
Yes, in addition to batch types (closed chambers), we also supply continuous or conveyor furnaces/ovens which are highly suitable for factories with mass production volumes requiring uninterrupted process flow
3. Purchasing & Delivery
  • What are the steps to order a custom furnace?
The first step is consulting with our team regarding your required specifications (target temperature, appllication, product dimensions, material type, etc). Afterward, our technical team will provide an initial design and a quotation. Once approved, we will begin the manufacturing process.
 
  • What is the estimated lead time for a custom unit?
Manufacturing time highly depends on the size and complexity of the system. On average, it takes between 4 to 12 weeks. The delivery schedule will always be communicated transparently in the contract.
 
  • Does Wintherm deliver to all industrial areas in Indonesia and Malaysia?
Yes, we provide delivery, installation, and technical support services to all industrial areas across Indonesia and Malaysia.
4. Installation & Operations
  • Does the purchase price include installation and commissioning costs?
In most of our offers, on-site installation and commissioning services for industrial furnaces and ovens are included in the package, unless requested otherwise. Our dedeicated team will ensure the machine is installed correctly and functions perfectly before handover.
 
  • Will our operators be trained on how to use the machine?
Yes, after installation is complete, our technicians will provide a comprehensive training session to your operators regarding standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
We alos have video for operational and of course manual and drawings.
 
  • How can I determine the electrical power requirement (kW) for the furnace I am going to buy?
The power requirement will be calculated in detail by our engineering team based on the chamber volume, insulation type, and target heating ramp rate. This electrical load information will be provided upfront so you can prepare your factory's electrical utilities.
5. Maintenance, Spare Parts & Warranty
  • How long is the warranty period provided for a new furnace or oven?
We provide an official warranty (typically for 1 year) covering manufacturing defects and heating system performance (Except for consumable items). Detailed warranty coverage will be specifically outlined in the purchasing documents.
 
  • What routine maintenance is required for an industrial furnace?
Routine maintenance includes checking the condition of the heating elements, the integrity of the refractory brick lining, thermocouple calibration, and cleaning the heating chamber. We will include a maintenance manual book with every unit.
 
  • Does Wintherm provide spare parts if a component breaks?
Yes, we maintain local stock for various crucial spare parts such as thermocouples, heating elements (wire/silicon carbide/MoSi2), insulation materials, and electrical panel components, ensuring repairs can be done quickly without long import waits.
 
  • What if our furnaces or industrial ovens experiences an error or suddenly shuts down during production?
You can immediately contact our after-sales service. Our technical team is ready to perform initial troubleshooting via phone/video or promptly dispatch to your factory (on-site visit) to minimize production downtime.
